These are the tweaks I do to NOD32 for all of my customers.
First open the little icon by your clock for NOD32 by double clicking on it.

Once you have the NOD32 Control Center open it looks like this:
Now you click on AMON to open it's window.
Now click on Set up.
There is nothing to change on the first tab, click on the "Options" tab. Then click on the box to put a check in the only unchecked box.
Next click on the "Actions" tab.
On this tab check "Clean
automatically" and UNcheck "Move newly created files to Quarantine"
Then click OK.
Next click on DMON on the left window (NOD32 Control Center)
Click on Set up.
Click both boxes that were not checked.
Then click on the Action Tab.
Here click on "Delete" button. Then click OK.
Next click on EMON on the left window.
Then click on Set up.
Here you want to check on two
boxes, (Unless you only receive text emails.)
"Scan RTF message bodies" & "Scan plain text message bodies"
DO NOT click on "Convert email body to plain text"
Click OK
Then click on IMON
Click on Set up.
There is nothing on the first
tab POP3, click on the HTTP Tab.
Under Actions click "Automatically deny download of file"
Click OK.
Then click NOD32
Click "In-Depth analysis"
This will start a scan, stop it as soon as the stop button comes up ( this takes a few seconds)
Then click the "Actions" Tab
Here check "Delete" then click the "Set up" Tab
Chick "Email files", "List all files" & "Wrap Log" Then click the Profiles Tab
Click the "Profiles" Button
Click "Save"
Click "OK"
You are ready to run an In-Depth scan of your system. You can click "Scan & Clean" to start a scan.
It is a good idea to run an In-Depth scan from time to time.
Now you can reduce this window and go back to the NOD32 Control Center.
Click the little arrow next to NOD32 System Tools so it points down.

Click on "NOD32 System Setup"
Click Set up.
Click on all 3 unchecked boxes on the first tab. Then click OK
You are now finished tweaking NOD32.
If you need any help you may call or email me.
